Hello Doctor B I strained my back a few days ago and probably have a herniated disk. Initially I felt excruciating pain in my back and my left buttock and I couldn't stand up straight anymore. This went away after 2 days but then I felt pain down my left leg, all the way down into my foot. Now the back-pain has stopped and the pain in my leg as well. But I still have a little bit of tingeling and a slight numb sensation at the back of my foot (sole) and the left side of the foot. I can walk on my heels and I can tiptoe, but walking on my toes is more difficult with my left foot, but no other sensations out of the ordinary are there. My wife have always been a very stressful person but since Dec 2001 she has had a back problem. It sll started as a back pain in the L4-L5 area, the pain intermittently went to her left leg. She went to see a regular Dr and they gave her some non-steroidal anti-inflamatory injections that didn't help a lot. An MRI in January showed a degenerative L5-S1 disc, but it din't seem to be pinching any nerves according to the Radiologists. She went to 5 or 6 acupuncture 6 sesions, that relieved the pain in the L4-L5 area but not the pain in the lower lower back, in the sacrum area, in the upper part of the buttocks, where she is extremely sensitive to the touch. Now at the end of everyday she is exausted by the pain and only wants to lay down. She is very stressed by this situation as we have three little kids (7,4 and 1 1/2) and she can't attend them. All doctors we have seen say that she should exercise, but when she tries it, it only hurts more. One doctor proposed injecting some steroidal anti-inflamatory medicines in the area where the pain is, but she is reluctant to do so because of all the bad talk about steroids. We are looking for help from alternative medicine like homeopathy, what do you suggest us to do? we live in San Diego area, can you recommend someone that has proven results in a similar case? I am having problem of panic disorder/panic attack for the last one year, & during panic attack I face High palpitation, Un -easiness and some time when I stand I feel I will fall down. Contacted Local doctor they advised me to take Aconite 30 C four pills fourtimes a day. Is there permananent remedy for the same. this is reg nasal obstruction on the left side. common cold gets cleared with homeopathy medication in a few days. but it(phlem) settles down in the left side of the nose, blocking the air passage. constant blowing is required to clear the nose. this had happened a few times earlier and lasted for a few months. what remedy would you suggest doctor?

Dear Dr. B: My friend, Kathy, has been taking Valerian for her chronic fibromyalgia. Our homeopath had her up to 5 pellets of 10M diluted in one half cup of water. She keeps this dilution in her fridge in a bottle for convenience. Her five year old daughter, Eden, thought this bottle was her water bottle and drank the remedy. Kathy didn't think too much of this until Eden started manifiesting the fibromyalgia symptoms that Kathy suffers from. Eden is very tired and doesn't feel well. She is weepy. She told Kathy, "I feel like Cinderella and you are the Evil Stepmother and I'm locked in my room and cannot get out." Kathy says that this is exactly how she feels when she is in a flare. This sounds like the remedy is proving in Eden. But what is the antedote? I suggested coffee, but am not at all sure that this will really help. Our dear homeopath has moved across the country to teach. We miss him sorely, though he has been gone only six weeks. Hello Doctor B, Its my initial visit to ur site and it seems very good. I am 30 Yr old suffering from High BP I used to chek it after some interwals and mostly its arount 135+ to 95+ around 9 months back I got my blood profile checked and the report is like serem triglyserides - 224, serem cholestrol - 216, total lipids - 580, LDL - 117 VLDL - 45, HDL Chol - 54, Blood sugar fastning - 100 and blood sugar PP - 171 and after that I switched over to some physical excesises walks etc and which resulted into lowering of my blood sugar fastning to 91 and Blood sugar PP to 125 which was under control. Dear Doctor B, I am 45 and I have lots of moles. Doctors say that they do not present any immediate danger to my health. But I am annoyed, I always wanted to get rid of them. My 16 y old son probably inherited this condition from me. He has lots of moles too. One of them on his back was diagnosed as malignant and was surgically removed. Further biopsies detected few a-typical moles on his body, which means, that he is at the greater risk of developing skin cancer in the future. But what about homeopathy? The traditional medicine does not offer anything better than staying out of the sun, watching for changes, and waiting for surgeron's knife. It is frustrating to watch for changes in everyone of dozens of moles and fearing that something very bad may eventually come out. I hope that homeopathy may suggest us some new avenues.
