In Homeopathy, bacteria are usually not considered the primary cause of an ailment. In most cases it is considered that primarily the vitality of the person goes down due to some reasons which create suitable ambiance for bacterial growth and proliferation. So in most cases our focus is on treating the 'person' wholistically. By this I mean that 'disease' is not considered in isolation. The person who is sick has his/her own individuality and this individuality is taken into account to find the remedy that is most suitable for a particular case.
As fas as hyperacidity is concerned, there are dozens of medicines in Homeopathy that can help in such ailments. But to find the right remedy a porper case taking will be required.
Wishing you health,
Dr. B
