about SARS
The symptoms you use are commen symptoms. I think its better to use peculiar symptoms. Aconitum etc can be usefull but first you have to repertorise and look for general and peculiar symptoms. I think every remedy can be the similimum in SARS, not only these four of five you mentioned. It looks a bit like cook book medicine or cook book homeopathy....

Hi Jeff,
I do agree that individualisation is required, whatever be the ailment. But in this analysis about SARS we were trying to find the GROUP of medicines from which a genus epidemicus may be found. There are atleast 12 medicines in my initial analysis and many more have been accepted in the discussion that followed. So I do not think that this was a case of cook-book homeopathy. Our efforts were sincere and the analysis was based on whatever information we could gather from secondary sources. The article was written at the early onset period of SARS when the information available was quite limited and their was still much confusion about the diagnosis and treatment. I tried to analyse the information available at that time. I did not give any definets, all I gave was food for thought. Please see the article in that light.
Best wishes,
Dr. B
