Thanks.Reg; your reply about pitting swelling on shins you are right as pt. is diabetic and recently before 5 month started taking 14 units of mixtard(100i.u) Insulin and alongwith oral medicines avacandia 2 tabs and Amryl 3 one tab daily. Please tell if the swelling can be due to Insulin or oral medicines and how it can be corrected. It appears that Sulphur content in Insulin and Sulfaurea diabetic medicines have some role in causing edema and other problems(e.g compare Nat.Sulph.)and its metabolism can help so pl also tell if Sulphur based hom.remedies or Insulin can help in correcting Insulin resistance, otherwise pls suggest some other remedies for the same.
Best regards.

Hi Vijay,
I do not remember the side-effects of all the allopathic drugs. So you will need to search the net or ask a allopath about the action of these medicines. Your idea about the sulphur content in Insulin is just a hypothesis. Difficult for me to comment about it. If there is insulin resisitance, potentised insulin may help in lowering the resistance but ultimately you will have to lean on the totality to cure the patient. Why not just take the full case and prescribe accordingly?
Best wishes,
Dr. B
