How does one become a certified homeopath? There seems to be numerous programs, etc., which confuse me. I realize some homeopaths are MDs, DOs, NDs but many are not. What organizations regulate certification or licesne? Please advise

Hi Ed,
You have not written where you live. There are different organizations in different countries which regulate homeopathy education. Even the degrees are different in different countries. In Asia, DHMS and BHMS are the most common. In Europe RSHom is very common and in US, DHom and CHom is very common. Medical doctors, MD, can practice homeopathy in most places with or without extra qualification. It depends upon where you live. I would suggest that you search Hpathy.com and Homeopathyhome.com forums for your query. Such queries have been answered many times on these forums.
Best wishes,
Dr. B
