Well! the answer to your question is - theoritically 'NO' and clinically 'YES'. Reason? According to the rules of Homeopathy, we prescribe on the basis of symptoms and not by the name of the condition /disease. Nerve compression at 4th lumar vertebra is a condition. But what are the signs and symptoms? The signs may be same in most patients but the symptoms vary.
