One of the earliest RADAR users in 1986, Schroyens became the homoeopathic coordinator of the RADAR project soon afterwards. In 1987 Schroyens was the main link between Vithoulkas and the programming team at the University of Namur during the development of the Vithoulkas Expert System – an algorithm duplicating Vithoulkas’ “thought process” which suggests possible remedies for the case at hand. Culling the homoeopathic literature for repertory additions, Schroyens and a team of homoeopaths corrected the Kent Repertory, incorporating a number of additions in the RADAR program. In 1993 Schroyens edited a printed version of Synthesis, the expanded Repertory linked to the RADAR project. A computer version of Synthesis exists in seven languages. Translations into various other languages are ongoing. Since 1995, several books based on Synthesis have been published in several languages, such as 1001 Small Remedies and Arzeimittelbilder von Gemut and Traume.
