Plussing method
First week: Take 3 globules of the prescribed remedy and dissolve them in eleven teaspoons of water, and stir it strongly. Take a spoon of this mixture once every 15 minutes and repeat this ten times. Save a spoonful of the mixture for the next day. The next day, the dilution will be further diluted by adding another ten spoonfuls of water. Save a spoonful of the dilution for the next day again .... you repeat this procedure for the whole week. During the following weeks of treatment you proceed according to the same principle. Second week: Take three pills of the remedy prescribed for the second week and dissolve in eleven teaspoons of water. Take one spoonful every fifteen minutes and repeat it ten times. Proceed in like manner during the third and fourth week of treatment. The following shall be achieved by this method: The same remedy will not always be repeated in same dilution or potency. A medicine being modified (diluted/potentised) steadily does not irritate the organism very strongly, but it helps however, in bringing the 'fire' under control. Diluting the three globules over and over again over a period of one week permits a real bombardment on the tumour. During the approximately 2.5 hours of the administration of the remedy, no solid food should be taken, only water and fruit juices. Dr. Ramakrishnan does not permit coffee, alcoholic drinks and tea during the treatment. Everything which seems medicinal should be avoided. With respect to coffee, a deep fear prevails with most homoeopaths. We (AUR & team) found out that there was not any difference between patients who drink coffee and those who do not. If a body is used to a certain way of life, our remedies still seem to have the effects expected. However, it is better for the cancer patients not to further weaken their neuro-immune system. PS: Never again use the bottle after a week of treatment!
For students of Kentian homeopathy it is unusual that two remedies are prescribed alternately. The reason for such a procedure in these cases, is that no time remains to give the constitutional remedies for long periods, like 8 or 9 months. The Nosode together with the constitutional or organ-specific medicine obviously has a better effect, as compared to all other methods that Dr. Ramakrishnan has tried out. With cancer, it is always a run against the time. Cancer cases are usually multilayered and very complex, the constitutional medicine often no longer recognizable easily. Many side effects are caused by the tumour itself. Samuel Hahnemann, wrote in a letter to Julius Spinädi on May 15th, 1833, that one can give two remedies alternately with a corresponding interval in between. That does not mean that one may mix or simultaneously apply these remedies together. For the Plussing method, the C30, C200 and 1M have proved themselves most useful for Dr. Ramakrishnan. For quite young, fresh and small tumours, the split method with C30 or C200 is suited best, used once a week with four applications daily. |
