Vaccinations: Just Say No (See A Homeopath Instead!) -- Elaine Lewis, CHom |

| Where do you go with a mixed message like, "Vaccinations are risky, but, without vaccination, you risk your child coming down with a serious disease!" We've been urged to learn "both" sides of this story to break free of the paralysis of indecision. Here's the good news: Even just scratching the surface of this controversy brings one to the inalterable realization that there IS no "other side" to this story! Vaccinations are a fraud, a total fraud--by the government's own admission! Read on.
Let's look at the Polio vaccine, because that's the disease people are most afraid of, isn't it? We don't want our children to contract a disease that causes paralysis, do we? Of course not! No one's going to forego the Polio vaccine--maybe the others, but, not this one! So let's just start from there. Did you know that Jonas Salk himself said that from 1961 on, all cases of Polio in the United States have been caused by the oral Polio vaccine? No, he really said that!1 (Washington Post, September 24, 1976) The CDC (US Center for Disease Control) was a little more cautious. They said that from 1979 on, the Polio vaccine has been the major cause, if not the sole cause, of all cases of Polio in the United States.2 That's the government talking! Well, you can stop reading now because I can't imagine what more you could possibly need to know! A stunning admission by the government of the United States: the Polio vaccine--all risk, no benefit. Cheers! (However, if you do stop reading now, you'll miss hearing Fats Domino at the end, which, admittedly, is the best part of this article.) Are you still with me? Those of you who haven't bailed yet, fasten your seatbelt! Polio! Here's your first surprise: It's not as bad as you think. I had Polio in 1952. Yes, it's true; shocking, but true. My legs were paralyzed, I couldn't walk. That lasted for 2 weeks and then it gradually went away. Yes, it does go away, that's the surprising thing about it. First of all, over 90% of people exposed to the natural Polio virus don't get it, even in epidemics.3 Others will get cold or flu symptoms.4 One in every 1,000 who contract the disease will get the paralysis5 (so I guess I'm just lucky) and usually there is full recovery which begins after several days and continues over the next one to two years. Now, the vaccine, on the other hand, actually caused Polio to sky-rocket after the immunization program began; in fact, Polio may have doubled in the US as a whole, according to US government statistics after the vaccination program got under way.6 Doctors and scientists at the NIH in the '50's knew the Salk vaccine was causing Polio. Some called it "worthless and dangerous." 7 The Idaho State Health Director, in response to a local outbreak, publically blamed Dr. Salk and the vaccine manufacturers. 8 Why, then, do people believe we owe a debt of gratitude to the Polio vaccine for ending Polio? Because they just never bothered to look at the facts! Even before the vaccine was introduced, Polio had already declined by roughly 50% 9; plus, Polio declined and disappeared in European countries that never had a vaccination program! 10 But, to make sure the vaccine "worked", or rather, would LOOK like it was working, the standards for diagnosing Polio were completely changed 11 -- it suddenly became next to impossible to meet the Polio "threshold". Before the vaccine, you were presumed to have Polio if you had paralysis for 24 hours. 12 After the vaccination program began, the "test" for Polio became: paralysis for 60 days! 13 Someone REALLY wanted this vaccine to look good! After the vaccination program started, cases that formerly were reported as Polio were now being reported as meningitis!14 It seems apparent that a lot of people with vested interests in the vaccine were throwing their considerable weight around! Is this "science"? Let's move on to the "science": In 1959, Bernice Eddy, a scientist at NIH discovered an infectious agent in the Polio vaccine--a cancer-causing agent! When she tried to make this finding public, she was demoted and her lab was taken away! 15 Do you see how the medical establishment is looking out for you? In 1960, two scientists from Merck, Drs. Ben Sweet and M.R. Hilleman, were credited with discovering this infectious agent, namely, SV-40 (Simian virus 40), a monkey virus whose kidneys were being used to grow Polio vaccines. "When we started growing the vaccines, we just couldn't get rid of the SV-40.... We tried to neutralize it but couldn't.... Now, with the theoretical links to HIV and cancer, it just blows my mind" Sweet said. 16 Apparently SV-40 survived the formaldehyde Dr. Salk used to kill microbes that contaminated his injectable vaccine. So, between 1954 and 1963, 30 to 100 million Americans got a cancer - causing virus in their Polio vaccine. 17 But wait, monkeys are host to not one but really hundreds of viruses, and no one knows what they all do, you can only test for the ones you know! "The Polio vaccine is a ticking time bomb," said Harvard medical professor Ronald Desrosier. 18 In the 1980's, SIV was discovered in the Polio vaccine--that's Simian Immunodeficiency Virus. This caused some researchers to wonder if SIV might be the precursor to HIV. 19 This vaccine was given to hundreds of thousands of Africans in the Congo from '57-'60. In '59, Dr. Albert Sabin reported in the British Medical Journal that the Polio vaccine used in the Congo contained an "unidentified" cell-killing virus. 20 Thirty years later, AIDS was discovered in precisely this area of Africa. Samples of this vaccine have been stored in the Wistar Institute, they could easily be tested, but the government won't allow it! 21 What are we keeping it for then? The origins of AIDS in the United States has been roundly blamed on a trial of Hepatitis B vaccine in 1978 among the gay population in both New York and California. What has been less widely reported was the use, in the same population, during the same time, of the Polio vaccine as a treatment for genital herpes! 22 Cows are used to make vaccines too. Cows also contain viruses. One of them is Bovine Immunodeficiency virus, or BIV. Added to this risk is "mad cow disease". Did you know that they will allow "downed" cows to be used in vaccine manufacture? 23 More on the "moo": another bovine virus, Bovine Visna Virus, is strikingly similar to HIV and is present as a contaminant in fetal calf serum used in vaccine production. The inference of its being a possible factor in the cause of AIDS can easily be drawn. 24 During vaccine production, it is impossible to prevent contamination with Bovine Visna Virus.25 In 1996, Dr. Howard Urnovitz, a microbiologist and chief science officer at Calypte Biomedical in Berkeley, California, revealed to an AIDS conference that up to 26 monkey viruses had been found in the original Salk vaccine,26 including the simian equivalents of:
Urnovitz proclaimed that he believed the Polio vaccine may have set up the Rock 'n' Roll Generation (that's me) for immune system damage and neurological disorders; for example, he sees a relationship between the early Polio vaccine program and the sudden emergence of human T-cell leukemia, epidemic Kaposi's sarcoma, Burkitt's lymphoma, herpes, Epstein-Barr and chronic fatigue syndrome. "Are we just a time bomb waiting to happen, waiting to develop Lupus, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson's disease?" Urnovitz asked. "What we are saying here is that there is a strong possibility that no human retroviruses existed before the Polio vaccine." 27 (By the way, the polio vaccine is still being made the same way: monkey kidneys, antibiotics, calf serum, formaldehyde, etc.) And what about all the other vaccines? Do you really think the story is any different? If I had to describe the vaccination program as a whole, I would call it a religious ritual in the sense that people don't know the first thing about it, don't question it, but just "believe". I would also call it a wind-fall for the drug companies and the pediatric profession as it guarantees a constant flow of office visits. I would also call it unscientific, ghoulish, reckless, ill-conceived and flies right in the face of what doctors know to be true about the rejection phenomenon--that if you implant foreign tissue into the human body, the immune system rejects it, goes on hyper-alert, attacks it, which is why people with organ transplants have to take immuno-suppressant drugs for the rest of their lives. So, why would they deliberately inject animal cells into our bodies? What could be more foreign? Why didn't they do one of their precious double-blind studies to see what would happen over time if this were done? Actually, there was a seven month trial in 1955 and some doctors DID object to the fact that the vaccine contained monkey kidney tissue but nothing was done about it. The trial, by the way, resulted in more cases of Polio in the vaccinated group than in the controls, but six drug companies sought licenses for the vaccine anyway! 28 So you might ask, "Well, Elaine, what are we to do? How can we protect our children from dread disease?" Have you noticed that most of these diseases aren't even around anymore? Seen anyone with diphtheria lately? What about lockjaw? What about the ones you do see, like measles and chickenpox? Well, here's an idea: see a homeopath! After all, what do you think vaccinations are? They're poorly and inartfully done homeopathy; yes, homeopathy! The principle underlying vaccinations is the homeopathy principle of "like cures like". Vaccinations are unlike anything else that doctors do. For everything else, they give an "anti" something: antibiotics, anti-inflammatories.... In stark contrast lie vaccinations, where all of a sudden they seem to "know" that likes should be cured by likes--but they do it in a clumsy, bumbling and reckless manner! We homeopaths have been doing this for 200 years! We treat every illness this way, we even PREVENT illnesses this way. The difference is, we know how to do it without making people sick, poisoning them and ruining their lives! Our remedies are "vibrations", not material substances that go through the digestion or the bloodstream. Let me draw you an analogy. In the '50's, where I come from, a music called "rock 'n' roll" was just starting; except then, in the beginning, it was called "rhythm and blues". The all-white orthodoxy was very afraid of this music. Every time an "R&B" record came close to becoming popular, some moron would "cover" it and the original artist would be consigned to obscurity. Pat Boone became the "Poster Child" for this "cover" phenomenon. Now, why am I telling you this? Because taking your child to the pediatrician for "homeopathy", is like suffering through Pat Boone's version of "Aint That A Shame" when you could be listening to Fats Domino!
