homoeopathy in india was considered previously as quackery, well now too in some places. I am a B.H.M.S qualified doctor, from bangalore university, and very unhappy with the instutions in karnataka. I came across certain rural mass(who had previously visited the free clinics run by instutions) calling it as quackery.        I request the authority to bring in certain rules and regulations to monitor the homoeopathicc distant educational courses, which is definitely not necessary. A metric passed individual gets a postal homoeopathic degree and calls himself a doctor. People are still unaware that there is a complete bachelore degree course in homoeopathy. I guess these are some of the obstacles for the development of homoeopathy         thank u Dr.shilpa

as we have no complete knowledge about homoeopathy.when we come out from college nothing for clinical practice .and also not enough knowledge to treat a patient. im the student if 3 rd year DHMS i=at peshawar homoeo medical college and hospital (pakistan) for your informition the word hospital is just for a name not available.......

i want to see that how many other like me have the the same status in homeopathy. although iam not qualified but thanks to hapathy and internet that since last two years i have been treating my kids and other family members with homoepathy only by learning it myself

I am interested in homeopathy for it's safe treatment in totality with minimal expenditure.I have been introduced to homeo treatment by my Guru,homeopathy doctor, Akella papayya sastry.I have been inspired by his free service to people. I prefer a homeopath should be educated and learn by research.As my age and life style will not permit me to study regularly in a college i am learning it through self-study

I have done diploma course in homeopathy ,it was 4year course from kolkatta in calcutta homeopathic collage ,regular course the quality of course was good since we were taught anatomy ,phsiology, medicine, sugery,jurisprudence,along with materia medica,oganon, pharmacy,though sugery obsand gyanae were in theory but it helped me to choose what were clinical symptoms of the disease and which were symptoms of the patient. the modification I would like is to teach students to have more practical aspects and to management of patients such as diets for perticular disease applying injections.ect.yes clinical training was available to us but it was not so comprehensive. hope to hear from u soon.

My vote was for self taught, not because I would have wished for it to be, but because, I had no other choice. I just began to study, to attend seminars that were resonably close to home and devoured every book I could get. I began a course with Durr Elmore but regrettably did not finish, tho I learned alot there.I took Lou Kleins course by proxy, my study group leader took the course and then weekly, we went over the materials as a study group. I also took the tests and just never had the money to actually apply to take the testing. I have managed on my own but know that I would have progressed more quickly with a qualified Dr., none were available to me. I have slowly stopped all the magazines too, just can't afford them anymore, but maybe soon things will change. Your site helps me keep current. Thanks for it..I would not have survived without homeopathy and that is for sure...
