I think that this will further enhance the cult-like status of homeopathy. We have major pop stars like Madonna turning to our art after her fall off her horse, that will only be seden as a positive.
More and more people are turning to homeopathy as all else has failed. Surely our aim should be to be the first port of call and not the last?
The Lancet and all allopaths will continue to discredit homeopathy, but then, what is new?

Whatever is mentioned was already existing. Still people inspite knowing about quantity in remedies, who like and have practical experiances in this system--are continuing and bringing more and more people.

So I think it can't have any bad chronic effect in long run but may produce some "acute symptoms".:D

Best wishes.

homeopathy works, and I do not care what anyone says about it. in time science will proof H to be scientific, already look at research on TLR, toll like receptors...

This way of metanalysis will expose their own weaknesses all the more, as auther failed to adress the need of this type of study and why homeopaths are not involved?

Homoeopathy is a well-proven and accepted by all over the world for its curative powers. It cannot be merely rejected by some reports when lakhs of people are benefited daily and in future Homeopathy research may lead and many people get benefited

I voted for Good. Even if the research findings published in Lancet were prejudiced, the publication has helped stir our minds which inspires us to do better.

lancet was nt correct to publish meta analysis.but its good he has done so coz it will bring reaseach in homeopathy which is a must.i say that homoeopathy is not a placebo effect coz i have seen results of homeopathic medicines and placebos dont cause such drastic effects.
thank u.

Bad, my perception is that homeopathy is passing through a transition phase, where in public opinion about its merit is the key factor driving homeopathy in india, if by such reports, this opinion is affected and its popularity goes down, it may affect further growth. The only hope is that such articles may stimulate homeopaths for further research, but where is the manpower who understand research.
