MacRepertory is a complete homeopathy software produced by Kent
Homeopathy. MacRepertory is an easy to use repertorization tool
with host of analysis strategies and other useful tools to narrow
down your search for the similimum. MacRepertory includes these
four free programs:
• Authors and Remedies
• Thema "Spiders"
• Zizia Philosophy
• ReferenceWorks Lite
With MacRepertory you can do everything you need to with your patient's
information. Quickly collect all of the rubrics. Complete a full
repertorization from a dozen different points of view. Find every
occurrence of a word or remedy in the many repertories we offer.
Verify your prescription in a score of materia medicas. Print the
case or a graph of the analysis for the patient's chart. Store the
information for future research, reevaluation or to share with a
colleague. Besides the flexibility of our analyses options and searches,
MacRepertory has a very large library to offer.
All Core MacRepertory programs (both the Classic and Professional
versions) include:
• 6 Repertories
• 30 Materia Medicas & Keynote files
• 5 Repertory Extractions
• A personal keynote file
• Confirmatory notes on over 1600 remedies
• 4 additional free programs
The Full MacRepertory Library (for both the Classic and Professional
versions) includes
• 19 Repertories
• 47 Materia Medicas & Keynote files
• 17 Repertory Extractions
• A personal keynote file
• Confirmatory notes on over 1600 remedies
• 4 additional free programs
MacRepertory's screen looks just like the book you're used to. The
remedies are plain, italicized or bold and the indenting is preserved.
Of course when using a computer you have a lot more control over
the ways you can view the repertory. You can hide all of the sub-rubrics
and see just the main rubrics. You can hide all of the remedies
in the rubrics, or just show the strongest remedies; or instead
of showing them in alphabetical order, list them by grade. In the
non-English versions you can switch between English and the translation,
or show both languages simultaneously.
Once you've narrowed the case down to a handful of remedies, MacRepertory
gives you easy access to the confirmatory information you need to
verify your findings. Just press on an arrow to walk through the
materia medica for the top remedies in the case. Alternate between
classical and modern masters, examine the repertory extractions,
or use the built-in confirmatories (with more than 1600 remedies).
There are a variety of flexible analysis strategies that emphasize
small remedies, "strange, rare & peculiar" symptoms,
keynotes, symptom strength or the number of rubrics-this gives you
dozens of interesting viewpoints. And there is an assortment of
easily understandable graphs to display them.
With MacRepertory Pro you can discover which families of remedies
cover the case. Remedy selection then becomes a much more precise
matter of selecting the closest fitting member of the family. You
will find that utilizing groups of remedies will improve your prescribing
as you intelligently choose rare remedies based on the qualities
of their related well-known cousins. It will also clarify your cases
and your study of materia medica. Families have been thoroughly
integrated into MacRepertory Pro. The program is designed so that
anywhere you can normally display individual remedies, you can also
display the family groups; for example, instead of seeing how many
rubrics are covered by each single remedy, you'll see how many rubrics
each family covers.
The remedies are organized into more than 800 color-coded botanical,
chemical and biological families: the imponderables violet, the
minerals blue, the plants green, the animals red and so on. And
since there are other ways of organizing remedies beyond the traditional
kingdoms other groups have been included such as Miasms, Five Elements,
Plant Chemicals, Vega's Boxes, Murphy's Planets, Boyd's Types, etc.
There's a lot more to appreciate in MacRepertory Pro - we've listed
a few items below.
• Find remedies that occur together in rubrics; i.e. find every
time that Phosphorus and Bismuth are together in a rubric; or
where one occurs but the other doesn't
• Discover the essence of a family of remedies: i.e. collect every
rubric that has at least four of the snakes
• Find rubrics where words and remedies occur together
• Create additions to the repertories

• Design new graphs
